The ISEV community and its leadership will make all efforts to organize the meeting as scheduled, or approximately as scheduled. However, the meeting may be significantly changed or canceled in the case of a force majeure event. A "force majeure event" covers a range of events that are essentially out of the control of ISEV and/or the host venue and make it impossible or illegal to safely hold the meeting. Please contact contact@isev.org for a complete list of force majeure events. If for any reason the organizers decide to make material changes to this event (e.g. venue or format of meeting) or if the event needs to be re-scheduled, ISEV is not responsible for travel expenses or other costs, damages, or expenses incurred by registrants. ISEV may retain paid registration fees to cover its expenses that may be incurred for having planned or booked the event or services related to the event, or to defer registration fees to a future ISEV event.
