Dietary Restrictions

AHS wants to make sure our events are inclusive and enjoyable as possible for all attendees. If you have a dietary restriction, please select it from the list below. If you need to select more than one, select the first one and it will appear in the field. Then go back to the list and select any additional dietetic restrictions. If your restriction/request is not in the list, select "Other" and a text box will appear allowing you to explain your needs. 

Health and Safety Policy

AHS is actively monitoring the health and safety guidance from the Centers for Disease Control as well as state and local health departments. AHS requires attendees to abide by any applicable rules of conduct or local or state laws that may be announced at any time before or during the event, which may include wearing personal protective gear, engaging in social distancing, agreeing to temperature checks or COVID-19 testing requirements, or providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination status. All registrants will have to attest to being vaccinated (primary series required; all booster doses recommended for you by the CDC are strongly encouraged) and be prepared to show proof of vaccination at check-in. AHS reserves the right to revise this Health and Safety plan based on the then-current COVID-19 conditions where the meeting is located.

Research Career Development Program

AHS is hosting a new program this year and is seeking new and early career investigators to conduct the next generation of impactful headache research! The AHS Research Career Development Program is designed to demystify grant funding for headache research, give you a framework for getting started with your research, and obtain mentorship from established headache researchers. Each day (Thursday-Saturday) will feature lectures and discussions from funded researchers across the career spectrum and NIH staff.  Also, Dr. Oshinsky will hold open office hours on Friday to review your grant.

Sessions run Thursday and Friday from 6:45 am - 8:00 am and Saturday from 6:30 am - 7:00 am. 

Please note that you are signing up for all three mornings. Breakfast will be provided each day.

Donation funds will be used to help promote the exchange of information and ideas concerning the causes and treatments of headache and related painful disorders. Educating physicians, health professionals, and the public and encouraging scientific research are the primary functions of our Society.
