Keio Ihara, M.D., is a PGY-2 junior resident at Japanese Red Cross Ashikaga Hospital, Tochigi, and has taken an active role as a joint researcher with the headache team at the Department of Neurology, Keio University School of Medicine, Tokyo, Japan since 2022. Her research interests include migraine pathophysiology and treatment response to migraine preventives, such as CGRP monoclonal antibodies (Ihara K et al., J Headache Pain, 2023; Ihara K et al., J Neurol Sci., 2023; Takizawa T & Ihara K et al., J Headache Pain, 2024), as well as the utilization of machine learning in neurology and neuroscience (Ihara K et al., Front Behav Neurosci., 2023). She has also enjoyed international collaboration with the International Headache Society and the European Headache Federation in the past few years.
