10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Grand Ballroom 5-9

Overview

Pharmacology and Therapeutics / Refractory Headaches/ Vestibular Migraine and Other Migraine Variants Special Interest Sections

Details

This course focuses on the concept of central sensitization, which is a core concept in the pathophysiology of migraine. It may be the driver of many migraine-related symptoms and may impact treatment response. Furthermore, there is increasing evidence that many recognize migraine comorbidities may also relate to central sensitization. 10:30 am – 11:00 am: Tinnitus and Headache 11:00 am – 11:30 am: Mechanism of Drugs for Refractory Migraine 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Central Sensitization Syndromes 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm: Pathophysiology of Peripheral and Central Sensitization
