Andrew Charles is a Professor of Neurology at the UCLA School of Medicine, where he holds the Meyer and Renee Luskin Chair in Migraine and Headache Studies. He is Director of the UCLA Goldberg Migraine Program, which includes basic and clinical research, education, and care of patients with headache disorders. His laboratory focuses on cellular and pharmacological mechanisms of migraine and pain, with a particular interest in the development of novel therapies. He has served as an associate editor of the journal Cephalalgia, and on the Board of Trustees of the International Headache Society. He is the Past President of the American Headache Society
