Reviewing A Health Plan’s Member Experience Functions and Initiatives

Session Synopsis

Session would focus on how to conduct an assessment of a health plan’s member experience functions and initiatives, e.g., related to Medicare Stars and Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS). This may include identifying opportunities for improvement related to the member experience governance structure and operating model, and sharing insights on leading practices.

Biography

Jeff is a Director within KPMG’s Advisory practice with 10+ years of experience, specializing in providing Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk services. He serves as a Lead Engagement Director and trusted advisor for healthcare provider and payor clients. Jeff is experienced in leading internal audit functions, overall client relationship and team development, project management, risk assessments, management of internal audits related to core and emerging risks, oversight of staff and subject matter professional team members, and presenting at Audit Committee meetings. He also has experience assessing Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and Model Audit Rule (MAR) internal controls over financial reporting. Jeff is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He holds an MS in Accounting, as well as a BS in Accounting with a Concentration in Finance from Binghamton University, School of Management.
