Wes Luckock is a Senior Manager in Grant Thornton’s Risk Advisory practice with 8+ years of experience. He is one of Grant Thornton’s National Leaders for compliance automation and currently leads a team that designs, develops, and delivers technology enablement solutions for clients using cloud technologies, BI reporting tools, and AI/machine learning. Wes has also led the development of Grant Thornton’s first Generative AI solutions for risk and compliance and launched successful GenAI platforms to 1,000+ users. He is adept at quickly understanding current state processes and leveraging existing technology to drive operational efficiencies and bolster the capabilities of Internal Audit functions. Wes’ client-centric mindset has allowed him to support numerous clients as they move through AI governance and system implementation. His extensive background in Internal Audit has allowed him to lead large technology implementation teams to deliver automation and analytics solutions alongside the Internal Audit departments of multiple Fortune 50 organizations. Beyond this, Wes has led the development of Grant Thornton’s control and control test automation solution architecture and methodologies, and invented cta.x, Grant Thornton’s proprietary full population testing software. Finally, Wes designed the first custom configured Azure DevOps solution for Agile compliance program management.
