The New IIA Standards - Prepare Today for Tomorrow

Session Synopsis

Recently, the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) released their long-awaited update to the International Standards for the Professional Practice for Internal Auditing (Standards). While the Standards don't go into effect until January 2025, Internal Audit functions should be doing things today to prepare.

This session will review the key updates/changes to the Standards, provide perspective on what those changes practically mean to how Internal Audit operates and share recommendations on what steps Internal Audit functions can do now to prepare.
