Caring for Women with Migraine Benefits Everyone

    12:00 PM - 12:30 PM

    Presentation Description

Migraine is highly prevalent among women and most prevalent during adolescence through midlife, times of significant life demands and achievements such as completing education and trainings, establishing a career and earning a living, and having and caring for a family. Migraine can be incredibly disabling and negatively affect all aspects of life from the smallest daily chore to the biggest life decisions. When a woman with migraine is disabled, not only is her life negatively affected, but many people are potentially affected from children, partners/spouses, coworkers, extended family, community, pets and more. The well-being of women with migraine is essential to the well-being of society.
